To wash strawberries, mix 1 cup (250 mL) vinegar and 2 cups (500 mL) of water and toss in the strawberries. Drain and place on a paper towel lined baking sheet to dry.
Left-over tomato paste can be frozen successfully in an ice cube tray dedicated to the paste. Or, place 1 tbsp. (15 mL) spoonful on a piece of waxed paper and freeze. Store in freezer bag until needed.
